1. Do I have to change my phone number?

No. Your phone number stays exactly the same.

Your phone still rings first like normal. If you answer the call, nothing changes.

If you miss the call, Pro-Link automatically steps in, captures the caller, and sends them a booking link so they can schedule the job.

You stay in control of every call. Pro-Link simply makes sure no opportunity slips through when you're busy.

2. What is the Google Appointment Schedule link?

This is the booking link customers use to schedule time with you.

Google creates this link inside Google Calendar using a feature called Appointment Schedules.

When customers click the link, they see your available times and can book directly onto your calendar.

There are no new apps and no new scheduling systems.

How to Create Your Google Booking Link

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Calendar

  2. Click Create

  3. Select Appointment Schedule

  4. Enter a title (example: Service Calls)

  5. Choose the days and hours you want customers to book

  6. Set the appointment length (example: 30 minutes or 1 hour)

  7. Click Save

Once saved, Google will generate a booking link.

To copy it:

  1. Click your Appointment Schedule

  2. Click Share

  3. Copy the Booking Page Link

This is the link you will paste into your Pro-Link setup form.

Customers who click this link will be able to book directly onto your Google Calendar.

3. Do I need special software to use Pro-Link?

No.

Pro-Link works with tools most contractors already use:

• Your phone
• Google Calendar
• Text messaging

There’s nothing new to install and no complicated dashboard to learn.

The system simply works in the background when you miss calls.

4. What happens when I miss a call?

When a call goes unanswered:

• Pro-Link answers the call automatically
• The caller can leave a message
• They immediately receive a text with your booking link
• You receive a summary of the call

Instead of calling the next contractor, the customer can schedule the job immediately.

5. What happens when I answer the call?

Nothing changes.

If you answer the phone, the system does nothing.

Pro-Link only activates when a call goes unanswered.

You stay fully in control of your calls.

6. How long does setup take?

Most contractors are fully set up in under 10 minutes.

Setup is simple:

  1. Enter your contact information

  2. Paste your Google booking link

  3. Forward missed calls to your Pro-Link number

After that, the system runs quietly in the background capturing missed opportunities.

7. How do I send customers my Google review link?

Pro-Link can automatically send customers a review request after a job is completed.

To do that, you’ll need your Google review link.

How to Find Your Google Review Link

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Google

  2. Search for your business name

  3. Your Google Business Profile will appear

  4. Click Ask for Reviews

  5. Google will generate your review link

  6. Click Copy Link

Paste this link into your Pro-Link setup form.

After a job is completed, Pro-Link can automatically send customers a message asking for a review.

This helps you build 5-star reviews and win more work.

8. What if I don’t have a Google Business Profile yet?

You can still use Pro-Link without it.

However, creating one is highly recommended because it helps customers find your business and leave reviews.

To create one:

  1. Go to google.com/business

  2. Click Manage Now

  3. Enter your business information

  4. Verify your business

Once created, you can generate your review link and connect it to Pro-Link.


9. Forward your business phone to your Pro-Link number.

This is the final step that connects your number to the system.

• Open the call settings on the phone you use for your business line.
• Turn on Call Forwarding.
• Enter your assigned Pro-Link forwarding number as the number to forward calls to.
• Save the setting and place a quick test call to your business line.
• If the call forwards correctly, your system is now connected and ready to protect missed calls.

If your carrier gives you multiple forwarding options, choose the one that forwards calls when you do not answer or when your line is busy. Once forwarding is active, missed calls will route into Pro-Link automatically.
